Directed by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Summer of Soul examines the Harlem Cultural Festival, which took place on six Sundays during the summer of 1969 and featured performers such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, and Gladys Knight & the Pips. This documentary celebrates Black history, music, culture, and fashion.
