Juneteenth615 is Nashville’s celebration of the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas on June 19, 1865. Juneteenth615 is the official historical Juneteenth celebration for the city of Nashville. The celebration is powered by FELLAVISION + AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURAL ALLIANCE (AACA) in collaboration with and various other community partners. This event is held annually on June 19th at Fort Negley Park in Nashville, TN and is open to the community at large and families are encouraged to attend. There will be live entertainment, food trucks, vendors, an official proclamation ceremony, and a FIREWORKS presentation to close the night!
Battle Of The Paellas 2024
Join us for Conexión Américas' Battle of the Paellas in collaboration with Love & Exile, featuring four competitors luchando to be named the best paella chef in town. Judges and guests will try each of the four paellas ultimately crowning a winner.
Paella tasting: 12:30pm -2:00pm | Drinks & Dancing: 2:00pm-5:00pm
Tickets include a paella sampling from each of the four competitors and one complimentary featured drink. Other beverages can be purchased at the bar. This is a 21+ event.
Love & Exile does have a parking lot with limited parking. We encourage ridesharing. Street parking is also available on Main Street and surrounding streets.
*All proceeds benefit Conexión Américas, a local nonprofit organization serving the Latinx community.

Juneteenth615 is Nashville’s celebration the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas on June 19, 1865. Juneteenth615, in conjunction with the African American Cultural Alliance, will host Taste of Freedom, where Nashville’s coolest food trucks band together in the name Freedom. We will hold a Proclamation Ceremony at historic Fort Negley Park, that will include a family/community gathering with libations, performance art and history. It will be a time for reflection and rejoicing.

1 PM – 6PM Think of the best family BBQ but bigger – live band, DJ beats, real talk panels, tasty eats, and a bunch of stuff for the kids. Limmie Pulliam In Recital - Make Them Hear You: A Spiritual Journey
Hot on the heels of his spectacular Carnegie Hall debut, the incredibly talented tenor Limmie Pulliam and pianist Mark Markham will bring an evening of spirituals on Juneteenth at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. A dramatic tenor, Pulliam thrills audiences with his captivating stage presence and his powerful yet intimate sound. He recently made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera, where he became the first African American in the Met’s history to perform the role of Radamès in Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida. Pulliam’s program will be drawn from arrangements of Great Day!, Wade in de water, Ride on, King Jesus!, Another Man done gone, and other spirituals. Tickets starting at $25

This Juneteenth weekend NAACP award-nominated comedian and entertainer, Amanda Seales, is bringing her comedy variety game show Smart Funny & Black Live to the National Museum of African American Music. Juneteenth Freedom Day Ride
Come ride with us for the Juneteenth Freedom Day bike ride on Saturday June 17th. Riders will meet at Frankie Pierce Park at 6:45 am and the rides start at 7:30 am! The organizations involved in this year's event are Bike For Equality, Black Girls Do Bike, Oasis Bike Works, Walk Bike Nashville, Music City Dope Peddlers and Nashville Black Wellness Collective. There will be a 25 mile self guided marked route and a 10 mile group/family ride led by the Music City Dope Peddlers. Each registration comes with a ride pin and number and an event T-shirt. There will be raffles and giveaways at the event and snacks and water along the ride. Register for this amazing event, you don't want to miss out!

Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) (2021) Directed by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Summer of Soul examines the Harlem Cultural Festival, which took place on six Sundays during the summer of 1969 and featured performers such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, and Gladys Knight & the Pips. This documentary celebrates Black history, music, culture, and fashion.
